As a College Advisor at a public high school, I am asked constantly about paying for college. How do I answer that question?? I turn to Nancy Paul, an expert in the field of how to find “free” money that really really will help keep the ever-rising costs of college down. Nancy has written a handbook that should be mandatory reading for parents and students as soon as the college search begins. This is not about Financial Aid — this is about money students can receive based on their talents, sports, grades, interests, etc. Do yourself a favor: Read this book, get informed and apply for those scholarships! You can’t go wrong!

The author, Nancy Paul, is the consummate expert on merit scholarships. This book is jam packed full of information about how to obtain a scholarship that is not need-based. It is a “must read” for anyone who has kids that will be going to college. Even if your kids are young, it’s a good idea to read this now!! There is a lot of money/scholarships out there to be had to assist you in affording college. If someone’s going to get it, it might as well be you! Read Paul’s book – you won’t regret it.

This book is so informative, not just for parents, but for students, as well! I am going into my sophomore year of high school and could not be more grateful that Nancy has taken the time to write a book that is not only extremely informative but easy to understand. She really breaks down concepts in a simple, straightforward way, and I could not be more grateful to have this book. Scholarships sound overwhelming and intimidating, but with her enthusiasm and Q/A format, Nancy transforms the concept of college scholarships into a fun, exciting challenge I cannot wait to take on, with her help! Whether you have questions about scholarships or not, this book is sure to give you information and motivation you didn’t have before, but will definitely need. So grateful to have this book by my side as i begin to enter the next stages of my education, and i’m sure you/your kids would be, too. Check it out!

I was feeling overwhelmed, stressed and in the dark when it came to getting help for my daughter’s college education. Fortunately, I came across Nancy Paul’s book, The Little Book About Scholarships. It’s amazing how one book quickly gave me not only useful information, but gave me the confidence to take charge and receive money towards my daughter’s school that is so appreciated. This book is by far one of the most valuable books I have ever read! I would recommend it to any parent with children going to college!!
